Raymond E. Kegebein's Obituary
Raymond E. Kegebein 91, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away peacefully on April 4, 2013. He spent his last year at Ivy Ridge Memory Care facility where he received wonderful care and compassion from the staff who were like family to him. Ray was a police officer in Lansing, Illinois. He retired from LTV Steel. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was honored with the Purple Heart. He will be missed by his loving wife, Rosemary (Soutar) Kegebein, of 36 years, his son, Donald Kegebein of Lansing, Illinois, six stepchildren, Roxanne Schaal of Chicago, Illinois, Michele Kosmitis and Niki Davis of St. Petersburg, Beth Wickham of Frankfort, Illinois, Rosemary Chism of St. John, Indiana, and Nick Kosmitis of Orlando, Florida; ten grandchildren, brothers George and Chuck Kegebein, and his neices and nephews. Our family would like to thank Suncoast Hospice for all their care and support.
