Ralph Lee Rogers' Obituary
To the most selfless person this world has ever known, Ralph Lee. When you look up the meaning of the word Ralph, you'll find it means "counselor". When you look up the word Lee, you'll find ,"shelter, protection, cover, refuge, safety, security, sanctuary, haven, or shield." These words could not describe him better. See, Ralph was known and respected by EVERYONE he made contact with. It was his ultimate joy to speak to everyone he could about his amazing Father, Jesus Christ. Despite all the pain and suffering he endured through the last 12 years of his life, everyday he would ask the Lord for a one more chance to do His work. Never was any judgment passed by this man. He loved souls, he loved people, and he loved them more than himself. When the rain was pouring down and the thunder rolled, Ralph was not afraid. Instead he felt privileged to be able to carry such a heavy cross for the Lord. He said it was the very least that he could do. Ralph was grateful for everyday no matter how painful that day was. He would always say, "It just feels good to feel good!." Everyone who had the honor or knowing him knows that they were deeply and unconditionally loved. I truly believe that each person who knew him will forever be changed. He had that affect on people, you didn't stand a chance. Ralph was full of life, a prankster at heart. He loved a good joke or a funny phrase that would make you slow down a minute and ponder on what they just heard. We all loved his "out of the box" personality. It made life a little bit lighter. He was truly inspiring in a way not many will ever again witness. If you've never met an angel or witnessed a miracle before, after meeting Ralph, you could check that off your list. He was molded and cut by the same cloth as his Creator. There was no doubt about it. In the end, Ralph was excited to see his Makers' face. All he had wished for was for the Lord to look at him and say, "Well done my good and faithful servant." If you're reading this, you know that Ralph probably still hasn't finished hugging the necks of those who gathered in line up in Heaven, thanking him for planting the seed and personally guiding them to the Lord. An amazing thing about faith is that no matter the sorrows and grief we face today, the future holds hope. We WILL see Ralph again, I'm sure of it. He is not just peacefully resting. He is rejoicing and fulfilling his life long dream of walking with the Lord, side by side, everyday. You see, in the world we are living in today, God needing a brave and courageous angel by his side. One with integrity and strength. I will bet that is why Ralph was called home at this time. He has more work to do at the throne, and can touch more lives than he ever dreamed possible. Don't mourn his passing, rather feel blessed to have an archangel watching over you. As mentioned, his name means counselor, shelter, and protection.. so find refuge under his wings. You'll feel him flying overhead every time the wind blows. He is always with us, watching over us. He will forever be loved and missed but have faith and know that he is smiling and waiting patiently for our arrival.
