Rachel Hamilton Grubbs' Obituary
Rachel Hamilton Grubbs was born January 25, 1916 and went to be with the Lord on July 9th, 2014. She retired from Lockheed Martin as Chief Operator in the communications area. A longtime resident of Curtisville, PA, she recently lived in Pinellas Park, Florida. Rachel was a member of the Curtisville Presbyterian Church for many many years, then a member of East Union Presbyterian Church and attended Golden Gate Church in Pinellas Park until going to a nursing care facility. She was the last of ten Hamilton children. Rachel is survived by sons Donald Grubbs and his wife Mona, David Grubbs and his wife Loretta Harper, and daughter Ruth Grubbs Hayes. Surviving family members also include 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Alfred, son Dale, and grandson Thomas Myer. A celebration of life service and ceremony will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice are encouraged.
