We were all so sad to hear about Phyllis. She was a dedicated and kind friend, especially to our mother, Mary Carrington, who lived above her. Phyllis and Mother shared a love of dogs, and Phyllis always took advantage of every "dog sitting" opportunity to let Mother visit with her "granddog." Phyllis seemed never to meet a stranger, and she was a lively and gracious hostess. I remember sharing an evening in her lovely newly-renovated condo and spending an afternoon ice skating with Bill. Believe me, our whole family has the fondest memories of both Phyllis and Bill and were saddened to hear of both their passings.
