To the Most Venerable Members of the Sangha, To all Buddhist Devotees and Friends, With profound sorrow and deep respect, we hereby announce the passing of:
THE MOST VENERABLE BỬU PHƯƠNG
• Lay Name: Trần Bửu Phương
• Dhamma Name: Thích Hộ Đạo Dhammapālo
• Year of Birth: 1936
• Length of Life: 91 years
• Length of Monastic Life: 76 years
After nearly three years of prolonged illness, the Most Venerable peacefully passed away, following the course of impermanence, and released his life at 02:10 a.m. on July 4, 2026.
Throughout his life of practice and service, the Most Venerable upheld the purity of monastic discipline, devoted himself wholeheartedly to the Triple Gem, and guided monastics and lay followers. He leaves behind a shining example of humility, simplicity, and noble virtue.
His passing is an immeasurable loss to the Sangha, his disciples, and countless devotees near and far.

• 3:00 PM: Visiting and paying respects.
• 7:00 PM: Evening chanting service and Dhamma talk.

• 6:00 PM: Final rites and casket procession of The Venerable Buu Phuong, Placement of the casket, Dedicating merits and prayers, Funeral chanting service, Closing ceremony.
