Mr. Philip Robert Harmon's Obituary
Mr. Philip R Harmon, age 89, of St Petersburg passed away on May 16, 2015. He was born in New York City and also lived in Ohio and California before moving to Florida where he retired. Phil was in the United States Marine Corps and a minor league baseball player briefly, before working as a margin analyst for several brokerage houses during his career. He was an avid sports fan throughout his life and also deeply interested in politics and civil rights. He leaves a daughter Edith Harmon Weiss, a son Bruce Harmon and five grandchildren. In recent years Phil was a resident at Bon Secours Maria Manor Nursing home where he received loving care from the staff and made several close friends.
A private family memorial service will be held in New York in the near future. If you wish to make a donation in Phil’s memory please make it to Bons Secours Maria Manor of St. Petersburg.
