Peter J J Hickey's Obituary
Seminole, FL- Peter J. Hickey formerly of Lunenburg MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2013. Born in Fitchburg MA July 12, 1943, the son of the late Patrick J. and Nancy H. Hickey, he was a 1963 graduate of Lunenburg High School, where he gained notoriety as an outstanding basketball player and was named to the L.H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame. He spent 4 years with the Army National Guard and was employed at Digital Corp. In retirement, he opened his own business, Dale's Coins, in Dunedin and Largo FL. He loved to golf and fish. An avid member of the Elks, he contributed much through his committee work and gifts to the Largo Lodge. Peter is survived by his son Patrick of California , his brother Joseph B Hickey and his wife Judy of MA, his loving companion Vera Sullivan of Seminole, FL, a cousin Jimmy Burlton and his partner Pauline, and Aunt Louise all of Pensacola FL. He leaves behind four nieces and nephews, as well as several grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, March 23 at the Largo Lodge of Seminole, FL- Peter J.
