Peter Segallis' Obituary
Peter Segallis, 85, of St. Pete Beach, FL went home to be with the Lord on
Thursday October 18, 2018. Peter was the son of George and Minnie Segallis and he was born in New York City. Besides his parents Peter is predeceased by his brother John Segallis.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Stasia (Dalabakis), his brother William and his wife Louise, 3 children – daughters Mindy Garbarino and her husband Richard, Cynthia Ferris and her husband Robert, his son Greg Segallis and his wife Michelle, 5 grandchildren Kristina Walters, Kimberly Ferris, Alexa Troglin, Peter Segallis, and Nicholas Segallis, and 1 great granddaughter Reagan Walters as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a resident of St. Petersburg for 30 years and he proudly served his country in the United States Airforce serving during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement Peter worked as a Financial Manger for the IBM Corporation for 24 years.
Peter was a man devoted to his family as well as his faith and he served his Church – Saint Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church of St. Petersburg where he was active in Ahepa, Sunday School and Bible Study. Peter also enjoyed bicycling and traveling.
