Peggy Joyce Darnell's Obituary
Peggy Joyce Darnell, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away April 17, 2024. She was born on February 21, 1943, in Helena, MT to Kenneth and Margaret (Stinneford) LaPrade. Raised mostly in St. Petersburg, Joyce retired from the Pinellas School System after many years of administrative service at Tyrone Middle School. She stayed active with her Boca Ciega Girls Night Out, Class of 1961. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald L Peters. Peggy is survived by her loving spouse of 52 years, Brent Darnell; her children, Dawn (Bob) Bedford, Ronald (Toni) Peters, and Brandy (Thomas) Pouncy; brother, Mark (Patty) LaPrade; grandchildren, Brooke, Sarah, Caleb, Haley, and Cameron; and her furry companion, Penny. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25th at 11:00am at Northside Baptist Church, 6000 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg.
