Paul and Ellen were best friend s with my parents Jimmy and Phyllis Beane. They were the most kind, considerate, fun, talented, instreasting people I had the pleasure of knowing since early childhood. My dad, Jimmy and Paul played together for many years. I will miss them...

Paul was the son of my parents' dear friends, Fanny and John. As a little girl, I remember when Paul and Ellen were newly married and lived in WV for a while. Ellen took me to ceramics classes one summer. I still have a set of coffee mugs that I made in the class. Paul was an accomplished musician, and I have fond memories of getting to talk with him at his performance at UC about 15 years ago. My sympathies to his family and loved ones.
