Patricia L. Nelson's Obituary
Our dear mother Patricia King Nelson (Pat) sadly passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 80 in Seminole, Florida after a long illness. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great aunt, neighbor and friend. She was born February 23, 1942 in Akron Ohio. Pat is predeceased by her parents Robert and Zelpha King, sister June Smith, brother James King, nephews Robert & Ralph Hunter and her beloved dog Chloe. She is survived by her best friend & sister Ruth Eaton, nephews Harry Hunter and Edwin Hunter & their families, the Nelson side of the family and her devoted children Gary Nelson (Tanya & the Gabriele family) and daughter Christine Nelson. Pat adored her grandsons Matheu Nelson and Timothy Nelson. She made sure the time they spent together was special and meaningful. She also had some very caring neighbors that we consider as family. Pat grew up in Ohio and moved to Florida in the late 1960’s. Before retiring, she was self-employed with her cleaning business “Mother’s Touch”. Her hobbies included line dancing, gardening and crafting. She will be missed and remembered as a hardworking, caring, kind and sweet person. A casual open house style gathering of friends and family to celebrate Pat’s life will be held at her home on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 11am-3pm. Please contact the family for details.
