Patricia "Pat" Milnes, 89, passed on January 29, 2024. Pat was born on September 23, 1934 to James and Margaret Tate and was one out of six kids. Pat met her husband, Charles "Chuck" Milnes, in 1952. They fell in love and married Read Obituary
I was blessed to have Patty as my sister-in-law from the age of nine. She was always the sweetest person in the room. My brother Chuck, was that sweet, too. They could have searched the world over to find their perfect mate and it would have been each other. She will be sorely missed, but she left an example of a life well lived. Thank you, Patty for sharing some of the best memories of my life.
I am friends with Pat's son, Jim and daughter, Pam. Pat was a wonderful, sweet, caring person. She always made me feel at home when I would visit and made me feel like a part of the family. She would make her special fudge for me. It was the best fudge ever. My heart aches for her family because they will miss her so much. Thankful for the extra time they had with her.
She was my Girl Scout Leader when I was growing up, and a wonderful neighbor. I was blessed by knowing her. RIP Pat. Jeni Benge Cunningham
Pat (and Chuck too) were like second parents to me when I lived on their property in Indiana. I have so many wonderful memories of the love and kindness they gave me and my little furry companion, Missie. We have stayed connected even after they moved to Florida. Pat was one of the most loving, kind, and generous persons I have known in my life.
