Patricia L Levasseur's Obituary
Patricia (Pat) L. Levasseur (née Stokes) died peacefully in Northside Hospital on February 22, 2020 in St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 82.
Patricia, Pat, she preferred to be called is survived by her husband, Gerard W. Levasseur; siblings, Malcolm Stokes of Wakefield, Massachusetts, Robert Stokes of Conway New Hampshire. Daughters, Ramona Kowalsky of Saugus, Massachusetts and Cherise Bannister of Largo and Grandchildren David Duncan, Frank Bannister and Sarah Jablonski all of Massachusetts. She is preceded in death by Parents, Malcolm Bourrowes and Hazel (Pellerin) Stokes of Beverly, Massacusetts, siblings Norman Stokes and Richard Stokes of New Hampshire.
Pat was born on March 21, 1937 in Sanford, Maine. She graduated from Brookline High School, Brookline, Massachusetts. She married Gerard on June 17, 1989 gaining daughters and grandchildren. Pat worked as a bookkeeper in the manufacturing business for Stall Finish of Peabody Massachusetts and After moving to New Hampshire, Curtis 1000. She opened Farm View Gift Shop in Milton, NH in 1994, and then owned a small restaurant in Farmington for a couple of years. After retirement, Pat was active with the School House Art Center a local community theatre group and the Cumberland County Maine Sheriffs V.I.P.S. (Volunteers in Police Service).
Pat was quick witted and loved to make people laugh, especially her loving and devoted husband. She was passionate about the many
rescue animals she loved over the years and truly appreciated the neighborhood dogs, and their owners who came to visit and cheer her up in her last days. She loved the beach and its varied wildlife, especially the birds.
A service is scheduled for March 20, 2020 at Memorial Park, in the Mausoleum Chapel with an internment to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pats’ life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Seaside Seabird Sanctuary

The family would like to thank all those at Lowes City who offered kindness with words of encouragement, and meals for the past couple of years during Pat’s many hospitalizations, rehabilitation's and confinement.
