Palmina (Peggy) Scamardella Wells, born on April 9, 1923, peacefully departed this world on April 10, 2024.
Palmina is survived by her granddaughters: Sandie Bree, Robin Cundiff (Tim), and Sharon Bree Dunn. Her great-grandchildren include Ryan Benac, Derek Zopfi (Sam), Cyra Wright (Tomas), Krysti Spelock (Kyle), and Torrie Dunn. Additionally, she is survived by her great-great-grandchildren: Carson Benac, Evelyn Wright, Ryder Spelock, Zayde Wright, and Adley Spelock. Her sister, Theresa Hodge (Dave), also mourns her passing. Among her nieces are Rose Ann Scamardella, Judie Devitt (Tom), Donna Popovics (Raymond), LuAnn Leahy (Mike), and Suzie Cardoza (Chad). Her nephews include Michael Scamardella, Frankie Scamardella, Peter Scamardella, Vincent (Alma) Scamardella, Jim Sullivent (April), and David Hodge.
Palmina was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Rose Scamardella. Her husband, William Paul Wells, also passed away before her. She is reunited with her daughter, Jessie Mae Sledzaus (Marty), and her brothers Anthony Scamardella (Carmella) and Vincent Scamardella (Aurora). Her sisters Matilda Rogers (Wyley) and Anna Sullivent (Harry) also await her in eternity. Additionally, her nephew Blake Rogers (Chris) and grandson-in-law Tach Shebby have gone before her.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 24, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Following the service, burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery.
