Orville C. Grounds' Obituary
Grounds, Orville C., 90 of St. Petersburg died Monday, April 30, 2007 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he moved here in 1917 and was a general contractor. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He was Vice Commodore of the St. Petersburg Boat Club and enjoyed lapidary, fishing, boating and dancing. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Virginia; a son, Orville, Jr. of St. Petersburg; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
