Mr. Orval Junior "OJ" Paul's Obituary
Paul, Orval Junior "OJ", 89, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, Feb. 17th at Alhambra Nursing Home. Born Oct. 5, 1921 in Fort Wayne, IN, he left there in 1962 as supervisor of General Printing Co. When he moved to St. Petersburg he began working for the City of St. Petersburg in the print shop and retired as supervisor in 1985. A Mason for over 50 years, he was a member of Nitram Masonic Lodge 188. An avid bowler, in 1966 he was the first to bowl a 299 in league at the Bowlorama in St. Pete. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gloria Nell Lovett of Waycross, GA in 1995. He is survived by his loving German Shepherd dog "Nell", 4 children Kandy Paul Smith, Dennis Paul, Gary Paul and Debra Paul Herman; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 20th from 12pm until service at 1pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home: 527-1196. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Society of Pinellas, 3040 State Road 590, Clearwater, FL 33759.
