Norma I Holmes' Obituary
Holmes, Norma I., 102, went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2011. She moved from Massachusetts to Florida in 1949. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing piano, knitting, cooking, crosswords, and solitaire. She also enjoyed working at her brother's restaurant, Tassy's in Massachusetts. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was proud to serve as a U.S. Coast Guard Military wife for 30years. She is preceded in death by her husband John R. Holmes and daughter Anne Marko. She is survived by her brother Amedeo P. Tassinari; son-in-law John E. Marko; Granddaughters Anita M. (Paul) LeCain and Jennifer M. (Steve) Masterton; great granddaughters Alyssa Zurla and Isabella LeCain; and many nieces and nephews. The visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday the 18th from 8-9am with the service to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 10am. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the American Heart Association.
