Nora Lee Jeffries' Obituary
Our beloved Mother, Nora Lee Jeffries, age 94 passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019 peacefully surrounded by her daughters and Grandson.
She was born to the late Eula J and Ethel Truby on August 12, 1925.
Nora Lee was an active member of Starkey Road Baptist Church for over 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased in death by her loving husband, Raymond W. of 56 years, her daughters, Barbara Ann Jeffries and Nora Marie Johnson, 1 Grandson, 1 Great Grand Daughter 1 son-in-law, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
She leaves behind daughters, Janice Lee (John) Brennan, Judy Scothorn, Debbie Rae Carter, 10 Grand children, 18 Great Grand children, 11 Great Great Grand Children.
The family wants to thank Hospice for the care they gave her during her last days.
A visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, September 6th from 1-2pm followed by funeral service at 2pm. Immediately following, friends and family will recess to the Garden of Reflection division within Memorial Park Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Raymond.
