Nigel Kyle Diggs' Obituary
A Life Steeped in Kindness: Remembering Nigel Kyle Diggs
February 26th, 1986 – March 25th, 2026
“All people are good; some just need to find it.”
Nigel Kyle Diggs, known simply as Nigel, lived by those words every single day. He viewed the world through a lens of hope, always believing the best in others.
Nigel was the treasured son of LeLetia Diggs and grandson of the late Carl H. Diggs and Virginia Diggs. He counted Glen Schutz as his lifelong best friend, a bond they both cherished deeply.
Born in Baltimore, MD, Nigel graduated from Overlea High School in 2012. Weekend afternoons often found him cheering on the Baltimore Orioles with family, a simple tradition that never lost its joy.
From 2020 to 2022, Nigel served as Marketing Manager at a private MMA gym, bringing his sharp mind and honest work ethic to every campaign. At the time of his passing, he was pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of South Florida, set to finish in the fall of 2026, pouring his love of reading about personal finance into his studies.
Books and new places called to him. Nigel often talked about traveling to Japan to explore natural spring spas, a dream that blended his love of learning with his sense of adventure.
Friends and family knew him as kind, empathetic, generous, intelligent, and unfailingly honest. He made each person feel seen, and his gentle confidence encouraged others to believe in themselves.
Nigel died on March 25th, 2026, in Largo, Florida, due to vehicular homicide. Though his years were too few, the impact of his spirit remains steady and bright.
We will hold tight to his favorite motto, letting it guide us just as he did. Thank you, Nigel, for showing us the good in everyone; your memory will stay close to our hearts always.
Services will be held on April 16th, 2026 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 1 pm with a service following at 2 pm.
