Nellie R. Wagner's Obituary
Wagner, Nellie R. 85, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010.
She was born to Thomas and Lacy Rushing on November 27th, 1924 in Andalusia, Alabama.
Nell worked in the steel mills during World War II and later owned and operated a restaurant in Orlando, Florida and Nell's Lounge in Gulfport, Florida. She loved to play pool and won several trophies doing so. She is survived by her daughter, Gloria Doscher and son, Stuart Ginn; granddaughters, Catherine Doscher Foley (Joe) , Summer Doscher Barnard (Brad) and Elisa Ginn; grandson, David Ginn; great granddaughters, Jensa Foley and Betsy Barnard; sisters, Corene McGregor, Orene King and Betty Bell; brothers, Burl, Lawrence and Bob Rushing. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Rushing and Lacy Black Rushing, sisters, Mildred and Ruby, brothers, Glady and Leonard, grandson, Stephen Jonathan (Baby Buddy) Stephens and son-in-law, Robert (Bob) Doscher. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
