Neal Ray Sumner's Obituary
Neal Ray Sumner, Jr. died October 19th, 2022. He was born January 30, 1934, in Clearwater, Florida. He grew up in St. Petersburg in a pioneer family that settled that area in the 1800’s. He graduated from St. Petersburg High School and the University of Maryland. He retired from Science Applications International Corporation after serving many short foreign assignments. On one, he took his family with him to Germany for two years for a very exciting adventure. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Parker for 69 years and three children: Neal Ray Sumner, III, Robert Glenn Sumner, Mary Patricia Sumner, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida 11:00 Thursday. November 17th.
