Nancy K. Webster's Obituary
Nancy Karen Elrod-Webster, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Mrs. Elrod-Webster was born on February 6, 1944, in Akron, Ohio to the late Glenn and Margaret Keys. She attended Tallmadge High School where she graduated in 1962. In 1963 she married Richard Elrod. Mrs. Elrod attended Ohio Bible College where she studied sign language and Mr. Elrod received his Minister’s license. In 1977 Reverend and Mrs. Elrod started Piqua United Pentecostal church. In addition to working in ministry, she raised her two daughters Kim and Robin. After pastoring for 15 years, Reverend and Mrs. Elrod moved from Ohio to Florida to lead a Pentecostal church in St. Petersburg. Mrs. Elrod ministered in St. Petersburg until Reverend Elrod’s death in 2003. For the last 15 years she served at New Destiny Worship Center until she was no longer able, due to her health. In 2018 she married Norman Webster in Clearwater, Florida. She was a dedicated Christian with a passion for prayer, Bible study and sharing the gospel. She is survived by her husband Norman Webster; her daughters, Kimberly Ballestero and Robin Thompson; her siblings, Diane McCartney and Charles Keys; her grandchildren, Lauren Cooney, Kalyx Bulgrin, Lindsey Leach, Carlton Ballestero and Braden Ballestero; and by her great-grandchildren Mason Leach, Bronson Bulgrin and Ava Leach. Her home-going celebration will be Tuesday, January 5th 11AM; viewing from 10-11AM at New Destiny Worship Center.
