Nancy J. Simmons' Obituary
Nancy Duncan Simmons passed away the morning of May 4th, 2023. She is survived by her loving family: husband, Larry Simmons; daughter Joni Aloia & son-in-law, Michael Aloia; grandsons Blake Ullstrom & his wife, Kaitlyn Ullstrom, Matthew Ullstrom & his girlfriend Franny Millen; her sisters, Carol Stephens & her husband Kyle, Peggy Lewman & her husband Greg, Patti Porter & her husband Tom; sister-in-laws Lana Adkins & Toni Hedrick; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Maxine Duncan; mother and father-in-law, James and Loretta Simmons; and her son, Stacy Simmons in 2021.
Nancy was loved by many because of her great sense of humor, sweet smile, kind, caring, loving ways. She always offered an open ear to family, coworkers, and friends. She was strong in her faith. She loved listening to country music, especially George Strait. She loved watching crime shows, Hallmark with her husband, cartoons, and Harry Potter with her grandchildren. She will be missed by everyone because she was considered to be the “sweetest person they ever knew”.
She will be deeply missed by her family and friends more than words can express.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to the First Presbyterian Church.
