Monta O. Cox's Obituary
Monta O Cox, 102, of Clearwater, formerly of St Petersburg, died Friday, Jan. 6th , at his residence. He was a native of Quincy, FL and moved to this area in 1973. He was the former owner and operator of Cox Sales & Engineering. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a life member of the American Society of Tool Engineers and was an avid golfer up to the age of 90.
Survivors include, five daughters, Margie Vogel of Ocala, Marilyn Callan and Susan Downs both of Detroit, MI and Nancy Cox and Barb Brielmaier both of Clearwater; three sons, John M Cox of Copperas Cove, TX and Tim Cox and Monty Cox both of Roanoke, VA; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
