Milica Stajic's Obituary
MIlica Stajic of Madeira Beach, Florida and formerly of New Jersey, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Palm Garden of Clearwater. She was 94.
Milica was born January 16, 1924 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in 1949. She began her career as a pattern maker/seamstress having learned her craft in Germany. She opened her own dance studio teaching ballet and impacting many young ladies through the years. Milica settled into her career as a realtor before retiring and moving to Florida.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 52+ years, Steve (1996) and a daughter, Doris Stajic (2015). She is survived by her daughter Gordana Weiss and her husband, Willard Weiss of Forked River, New Jersey; four grandchildren, DonnaLynn, Melissa, Jeremy and Meagone. Milica is also survived by two great grandchildren, Xavier and Jackson.
Visitation will be 10am-12pm Friday, February 2, 2018 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home 5750 49th St. N, St. Petersburg, FL 33709. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Steve at 12noon Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Petersburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association P.O.
