Ms. Mildred Horton Street's Obituary
Mildred Horton Street, 94, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully Nov. 5, 2014.
She was born in Kingsport, TN, on Sept. 13, 1920, to John and Elva Shelton Horton who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by first husband James Townsend, only child, Jamis Cecilia Townsend and brother, Jackson Horton. She lived in St. Pete for many years with husband, Rev. Virgil Van Street, who also predeceased her. She is survived by cousins, Marilyn Wilson and Carolyn Hunter of Idaho, Joseph Randall Shelton (Doris) of Morristown, TN.
Mildred was a long time member of the Episcopal Church and in DAR, Caravel Chapter, St. Petersburg.
Funeral arrangements are with Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport, TN.
