Mildred Cleon Johnson's Obituary
Johnson, Mildred Cleon, 93, of St. Petersburg, FL, passed away on December 30, 2012. Being a military wife she often traveled with her husband while he served in the Army. In 1960 they moved to St. Petersburg where Mildred worked in retail sales until she was 75years old. Mildred was an amazing woman who held her age well with a sharp mind. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed staying up with current events. Most of all she was a devoted mother. She is survived by her children Carol Williams, Lawrence (Sandra) Johnson, Judith Cleon (Ralph) Reeger and Thomas (Caryn) Craig Johnson; brother Alfred Mertz; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 35years, Master Sgt. Lawrence Johnson; grandchildren Lemoyne and Harold Mertz. A viewing will be held on Thursday the 3rd from 5-7 with a service on Friday the 4th at 2:30PM.
