Mildred Eleanor Bickford's Obituary
Bickford, E. Mildred, went to be with her Lord July 22, 2011 as gently as she had lived her life, which covered almost 96 years. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother with an engaging smile, she leaves behind only the fondest memories to those who knew and loved her. She was born in Pelham, GA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1923. She graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1934 and worked for Webb's City for many years. She later worked for Gran Way/Winn Dixie from which she retired in 1975. She is survived by her husband of 73years, Chester Bickford, her son William (Joan) of St. Petersburg, daughter Hazel Peters of Safety Harbor, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A Private family service will be held and in lieu of flowers, it is requested contributions be made to the Salvation Army and/or PARC.
