Michelle Hilburn (née Buenzli), aged 82, passed away on November 4, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. Born on November 4, 1943, in St. Petersburg, Florida, Michelle was known for her vibrant, bubbly personality and exceptional kindness. She was a light to everyone around her.
Michelle graduated from Florida State University and dedicated her career to education, touching the lives of countless students as a beloved teacher. Her passion for nurturing extended beyond the classroom, as she was deeply devoted to her pets and enjoyed hobbies such as shopping, baking chocolate chip cookies, and embracing all things colorful.
She was a committed Christian and found great solace and community in her church. With her husband, Richard by her side for 59 blessed years, they were passionate supporters of the Nation of Israel and Messianic Jewish ministries.
Michelle was called to heaven on her birthday by her husband, Richard Hilburn, and her parents, Robert and Jacqueline Buenzli. Her warmth and generosity will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Saturday November 15th at 10 am, followed by a funeral service at 11 am, both located at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
