I just heard now of Michael’s passing, and had to put pen to paper Irene, letting both you and Gretchen know how sorry I was to hear of his passing.

We had such wonderful evenings together, sitting out overlooking the bay, sharing much laughter with such interesting conversations.

He will most certainly be missed by many.

I plan on heading south this coming season, and we’ll certainly meet up for dinner downtown-raising a glass or 2, honouring Michael’s legacy.

Take care of yourself Irene-my thoughts and condolences are with both you and Gretchen during this difficult time.

I met Michael in California in the 80’s. He had recently met Irene, the love of his life and she was my “bestie”. We had so much fun. I especially loved Michael’s charm, intellect and quick whit.
Probably the best time we had was at their wedding on the boat. It was so romantic. Very good memories to hold on to. He will be missed. He’ll always be in my heart.
