Mercedes Richards' Obituary
Mercedes Richards of Largo, Florida and formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully Monday, November 26, 2018 in her home.
Mercedes was born January 6 in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada; one of four beautiful daughters of the late Isaac and Lucy Richards. Throughout her professional career, she worked as a clerical and administrative assistant in the banking industry. Mercedes was a devoted long-time member of Church of the Transfiguration in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her three sisters; Helen (2013), Mary Elizabeth (2005) and Gertrude Alice (2003). She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friend, Maurita Calkins. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the Palm Lawn Garden Section of Memorial Park Cemetery - St. Petersburg, Florida.
