Maude L Harrell's Obituary
Harrell, Maude Litrico, 92, of Largo, died Friday, January 2nd, 2015. Born in Tampa, but spent most of her youth in Roatan, Honduras where her father owned a shipping company. Later she moved back to Tampa where she finished her education and graduated from Hillsboro High School. She moved here in 1956 with her husband, Edward and two daughters. They eventually moved to Treasure Island where they lived for 30 years. In 1972 along with her husband, Edward opened Maude’s Fashions on Treasure Island and 3 years later a second store was opened in South Pasadena. They were in business until they retired in 1985. She was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. Survivors include her 2 daughters Beverly Smith, Kodak, TN and Bonnie Lee, St. Petersburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the society for prevention of cruelty to animals. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015 at Memorial Park Funeral Home from 11:00am until 1:00pm with funeral service at 1:00pm.
