Matthew Joseph Marchione's Obituary
Matthew Joseph Marchione, 56, of Pinellas Park, Florida passed away on December 3, 2025. Born on October 26, 1969, in South Bend, IN Matthew was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin.
Matthew grew up in South Bend and enjoyed going to Notre Dame football games with his dad, mom, and brother. Matthew also lived in Holland, MI where he devoted much time to his paternal grandmother. Matthew enjoyed visiting and talking with his grandmother in Holland. Matthew collected comic books and was on the debate team in high school. Matthew’s first teacher was his mother and lifelong anchor, filled with pride joy and love that never faded even as Matthew grew into a man.
Matthew leaves behind his mother, Molly Burkholder, his brother Mark Marchione, his sister-in-law Karen Marchione, and his nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad Ronald Marchione.
Matthew’s compassion and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched. Matthew will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
The memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 11am.
