Mary Ann Rode's Obituary
Mary Ann Rode, "Ann" to some people, has gone to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25th, 2020. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan on September 8th, 1944 to Reino and Fanny Nurkkala, both deceased and survived by one brother, Charles in Crystal Falls, Michigan. She has two children Eugene Victor Daniels ll and his wife Mary Ann, two grandchildren Justin Victor and Amy Claire of Riverview. Also a daughter Patricia Ann Daniels and three fur grandchildren Sport, Whiskey and River of St. Petersburg. Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She graduated from L' Anse High in L' Anse, Michigan, 1962 St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Marquette, Michigan and St. Francis School of Nursing in Joliett, Illinois with a Bachelor Degree. She worked in nursing for 35 years and loved bedside nursing in Cardiology.
Her memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th St. N, St. Petersburg, Florida on Saturday, February 22 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Liver Foundation.
