Mary Swinney Reilly: Devoted and Beloved Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Aunt, 63, of Jacksonville, passed onto Eternity surrounded by love on Thursday, January 16th 2025. She was born on June 14th 1961 in Rockford, Illinois to the late John and Antonia Swinney. Mary had a heart of gold. She was always ready to provide acts of service and words of affirmation. Mary was very Family-oriented. She never met a stranger and always made sure to include everyone. She had a great sense of Humor and loved entertaining children. She carried herself with the highest Respect and Modesty. She was Beauty and Grace. Her life was fulfilled by her true love Keith Reilly and their Feline companions. Mary and Keith enjoyed attending the Jacksonville Jaguars home games. She was Adventurous and enjoyed going on trips and seeing new places. She always looked forward to going to the Beach. Mary loved attending concerts especially Classical Rock Concerts. She was very involved in the Catholic Church. Mary lived her life to the fullest and exceeded at everything she put her mind to. She was very Professional and hard working in any career she undertook. She embraced opportunities at advancing in her careers. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She began her career at Burger King working an entry level position and eventually advanced into a corporate position. She got much joy out of her Marketing career for several radio stations. She went on to obtain her Real Estate license and establish a career as a Realtor. She is preceded in death by her soulmate Keith A. Reilly, Parents John D. Swinney and Antonia M. Swinney, Grandparents John and Cassie Swinney, Grandparents Giovanni and Albina Arpini, Brother John D. Swinney Jr., Sister-in-law Nancy Swinney, Aunts Alda Dufek and Roseann Cimino, Cousin April Albina Marie Cimino, Great Niece Trinity Chavez (From Jessica Swinney); as well as in-laws George A. Reilly, June Christine Mallory Reilly, Elizabeth “Liz” Reilly and Richard Nordstrom. As well as many other loved ones.
She is survived by Brother David Swinney, Sister Linda Swinney, Brother in-law Patrick “Pat” Reilly, Sisters in-law Debbie Nordstrom, Lilian Reilly, and Laurie Swinney. Aunt Mary Fiorenza (Spouse: William “Bill” Fiorenza). Cousins Jacques Dufek (partner: Jane Dickson) and Jean-Paul Dufek (spouse: Sarah Dufek). Nieces and Nephews Jonathan Swinney (spouse: Melissa Swinney who is expecting their 2nd child), Jessica Swinney (partner: Danny Chavez), Kelsey Fornoff (spouse: Chris Fornoff), Nicholas Swinney (spouse: Cassie Swinney) Kayla Mabesoone (partner: Joe LaFave), Brandy Foster (partner: Nick Rutherford), Kyle Mabesoone, Donald Parks Jr., Michael “Mike” Reilly (spouse: Darlene Reilly), and Sean Reilly.
Great Nieces and Nephews Richard Herrington iii, Tristian Chavez, Braxton Fornoff, Oaklee Fornoff, Theo Chavez, Madison Swinney, Steven Petros iii, Ryan Petros, Logan Petros, Noah Swinney, and Madalynn Fornoff. She is also Survived by many many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, & other very loved family members in Northern Illinois, Northern Alabama, and Surrounding Areas. As well as many Great Friends.
