Mary L Hutchins' Obituary
Mary (Pepper) Lynch Hutchins, 78, passed away on December 27, 2019 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Pepper is survived by her loving husband Elmer E. Hutchins; her five children, Mark Hutchins, Lucia Martin, Thomas Hutchins, Lisa Hutchins and Angela Engelke; as well as her seven grandchildren, Andrew, Danielle, Tyler, Zachary, Christina, Bethany, and David. She is also survived by her siblings Lucia Ritchie, Ed Lynch, Frank Lynch and Jim Lynch.
Pepper was a devout Catholic who loved and served the Lord her entire life. Throughout her life, she was a Eucharistic Minister, a Director of Religious Education for several Churches, an active member of Christ Renews His Parish and St, Vincent de Paul Society.
To put her Christian faith to practice, she graduated from Saint Leo University with a degree in Theology. She taught Religious Education at Sacred Heart Elementary and Tampa Catholic.
Pepper's love for her family was one of her greatest joys. She was happiest when surrounded by those she loved. Her smile was infectious and she will be profoundly missed and and will always remain in our hearts. Her legacy will live on through her children and grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street N. St. Petersburg, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 AM at St. Raphael's Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd, NE.
