Mrs. Mary Katherine Drenth's Obituary
Drenth, Mary Katherine ,53,of Seminole. Mary passed away on July 5, 2009 while visiting family in Smithville, TN after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Mary was born on December 8, 1955 at Mineola, NY and is survived by her husband of 27 years Miles, and their children Stephanie, Jennifer, and Ben; her parents John and Marie Gassler, her brothers & sisters; John (Ellen) Gassler III; James (Laura) Gassler; Joseph (Lorie) Gassler; Maureen (Jeffrey) Nokes; Marie (David) Evans ; Therese (Jeffery) Reid ; Paul Gassler; Mary Noel (John) Bunch; Christopher (Lori Ann) Gassler ; and her God Parents Ken & Jeanne Stutt.
Mary graduated from University of South Florida with a BA Accounting, member of Beta Alpha Psi, a Certified Public Accountant, and employed with Honeywell Aerospace for 24 years.
A strong supporter of her community, Mary was a past president of the Seminole Junior Women's Club, very active with Seminole High School Band Boosters, and Seminole Youth Athletic Association. Mary's passion was her children, family, and network of close friends who provided incredible support and encouragement throughout her illness. We have all been inspired by Mary's unfaltering courage and strength.
Friends may call at the funeral home, Wednesday, 7/8/2009 from 1 PM until service time at 3 PM.
