Mary, age 70, born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Florida in 1969, and graduated from Boca Ciega High School in 1972. She was an employee at the United States Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 2009 from the US Postal hea Read Obituary
I knew Mary since 1981 when I started work at the St. Petersburg Post Office in 1981. At that time, Mary was the clerk craft president of the local APWU and we both pounded on LSMs.
Later, Mary introduced me to Business Mail Entry in St. Petersburg and early in her career she transitioned to Postal Headquarters working in Business Mail Entry. Around 2004 Mary recommend me to a HQ detail working in the office of Mailing Standards where I finished my postal career 10 years later.
I will be forever grateful to Mary for her years of friendship, leadership and guidance and will forever miss her wit and unique sense of humor.
Rest in peace, Mary.

I have always had so much respect and admiration for Mary. She was smart, fun and will be missed. I am grateful to have been friends with her.
My cousin, Mary, was a kind and giving person. I am so grateful that we got to know each other better when I moved back to Florida in 2001. We especially related on our love of the movies. She will be missed by all who knew her.
