Gosh! What's a fellow to say after such an endearing friendship and so many wonderful memories, not only with "Rich-Bug" but also with brother Bob and the rest of his family.! The three of us hung around together so much we were often mistaken as brothers, a title I relished, never having had a brother of my own. I loved his gruff father and his lovely mother, Opal, who was such a wonderful lady and whose cooking I thoroughly enjoyed. All the movies we went to, going fishing at the "old" Municipal Pier, the bike rides all the way out to Weedon Island, not to mention our elementary and junior high school years are all such precious memories to me.
I never met his sons, but Bob, you and Glenda I remember well. I pray that you and yours are are comforted by our most merciful God and His Son, Jesus Christ, during this time of bereavement and that you, as well as I, are left with nothing but the fondest memories of the loved and lost and the solemn pride that must be yours to see so costly a sacrifice returned to the altar of God.
With love and best wishes,
