Without the love my dad gave I wouldn't be the woman I am now.. You opened your arms and your heart and raised me in a loving and safe home. I'll always remember you coming out of your room singing and acting like Elvis with your painted on sideburns or passing through the house and seeing you sitting on the floor without your shirt on and scareing me while i lay on the living room floor watching scary movies and for all the mornings you came and woke me up for school or work I will forever remember the hands that took care of me all these years and will be forever greatful to have been apart of your life dad!! I always thought you were a much better Elvis!! I LOVE YOU and MISS you so much love your youngest daughter, Penny

Dear Eleene and Family,
We are so saddened by your loss of Sonny. He was a wonderful man, loved by all who knew him. He always had a friendly smile and a wave of his hand for those who passed by. Jesus is with you and He will comfort your sorrow. in Christ, Chuck & Katie
Although I have only been part of the Henson family for a few short years, I have never been more proud to be a Henson as I am today. I loved Sonny like he was my own father. I shared a special love and friendship with him that no one could understand except for he and I. I recall times where we would just sit and chat about life, the good and the bad, NASCAR, the Rays, but usually ended up talking about Stephen. I thank God everyday for the moments that He gave me to share with Sonny. He was selfless and giving. I admired and respected him a great deal... he is the only man I know of that made such a huge sacrifice as to take in 3 additional small children into his home, sharing his life and love with them, raising them, teaching them, and providing for them. He was truly a remarkable man and I will truly miss him! May God's grace give peace to every person that loved Sonny!
Dear Junior, Heartfelt condolences to you and your family during these very sad days in your life. I pray that God will give you comfort, peace and many happy memories to think of as you reminisce about your beloved father. I can only imagine how delighted he was of you and your accomplishments. Keep making him proud!! Kindest regards, Patti
I will miss my uncle but will remember all the great times we had singing and being so crazy. He and my daddy (Lawrence Polk) had lots of fun together playing cards and having a drink and I'll never forget the time they went to the bread store!!!
Though I may not be there Aunt Eleene, please know that my heart is and I am thinking of you and the rest of the family and I wish you all well because I know how hard this can be. I love you all!!
Love and miss everyone. Rosa
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.
