Martha Sierra Ennis' Obituary
Martha Sierra Ennis, born on January 4, 1950, in Key West, FL, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in Saint Petersburg, FL. She was 76 years old and is remembered as a vibrant and loving soul who brightened the lives of those around her. Martha spent many fulfilling years as a sales clerk in the jewelry industry, working with both Navy Exchange NAS Jacksonville and Pasadena Jewelers, where her warm demeanor and genuine kindness captivated customers and colleagues alike.
Martha found great joy in her family and devoted her life to her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Ennis, and her children: Richard Davis, Daniel Knight, David Knight, Shelly (Mike) Lee, Shannie Ennis, and Shawn (Jessica) Ennis. A proud grandmother, she cherished the moments spent with her grandchildren Annika Ennis, Brooke Lee, Vance Ennis, Brynne Lee, and Jameson Ennis, as well as her great-granddaughter, Nova Ennis. Martha enjoyed spending time and sharing her faith with her cousins, Nancy Curry, Johnny (Deborah) Gelabert, Sonia (Bob) Gresham, and Debbie Gelabert. She often delighted in sharing her passions for boating, visiting new places, and participating in church and Bible studies, where she formed lasting friendships and connections.
Martha had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs and cats, and her home was always filled with laughter and warmth. Her welcoming spirit brought family and friends together, creating countless memorable moments that will be fondly cherished. As she embarks on her journey beyond this life, her legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Funeral services to celebrate Martha's life will be held at Helm Gallagher Funeral Home, February 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
