Martha M. Boynton's Obituary
Martha was born in Ellaville, Georgia 10-2-24 to John Asa Murray and Annie Bell Turner Murray. Martha later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. She lived with her three sisters in Atlanta and worked for General Electric Company for many years as a secretary. She met her husband, John Boynton (deceased), at General Electric Company. Once her children were born, Martha stayed home as a homemaker and mother. Martha is survived by her two children, Gary Boynton, a lawyer, who lives with his wife Amy and their three children, Michael, David and John Curtis, in Winter Park, Florida. A daughter, Barbara Boynton McCue, of St. Petersburg, Florida, is a law firm administrator with her husband, Leonard McCue's law firm. Martha also has two sisters living in the Atlanta, Georgia area, Ruth Dickson and Henrie Brooks, Henrie's husband, E. M. Brooks, and many nieces and nephews. For over 25 years, Martha was a dedicated volunteer for the women's hospital auxiliary and a hospital pharmacy courier at the Winter Park Hospital. She was recognized frequently for her service and devotion to her work and was loved by all her co-workers and fellow volunteers. Martha was a life long member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Park, Florida.
