Marlene A. Volz, beloved Nina, passed away on February 22, 2026, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born on April 19, 1952, in Erie, Pennsylvania, Marlene lived a life marked by selflessness and a quiet dedication to her family.
Marlene is survived by her loving husband, Larry E. Volz; her children, Joshua Benjamin (Robin) Volz, Jeremy Daniel (Ashley) Volz, Jennifer Christine Matthews, and Jessica Angela (Jeremy) Turner; her sister, Audrey Litteral; and brother, James Anthony Yeaman. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth Yeaman; her baby sister, Marilyn; and sister, Susan Melton.
Throughout her life, Marlene was devoted to her role as a homemaker, taking great pride in caring for her family. Her artistic side was expressed through her love of drawing and coloring, and she had a particular fondness for pandas and owls, amassing a collection of over 100 panda-related items. Her love extended beyond her immediate family to her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life.
In keeping with her unassuming nature, she requested that no services be held following her passing. Her memory will be honored privately by family and friends. Marlene’s legacy of love, humility, and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her.
