Mark James Morrissey's Obituary
Mark James Morrissey, age 70, of Pinellas Park, Florida, died at home on July 05, 2025.
Mark endured living with cancer for many years.
He was born in San Jose, CA, in 1955, to Phillip J Morrissey and Eleanor Morrissey.
His family moved to Peoria, Illinois, where Mark attended grade school and high school.
He later moved to Florida, where he made his home with his life partner, Jewell Leona
Grimes.
Mark worked as a school district bus mechanic until he retired.
Mark valued life with Jewell Leona, her son David, to whom he was a father, family, and
many friends. He stayed connected to people he knew since high school. He was very
caring and thoughtful. Mark enjoyed studying and playing many styles of guitar and
music.
He is proceeded in death by Eleanor Morrissey, Phillip J Morrissey.
Mark is survived by his sister, Margaret Morrissey, Jewell Leona Grimes, her son David
Peacock, and her family.
Services are pending.
