Marjorie E McIntosh's Obituary
Marjorie McIntosh, age 93, of Pinellas Park, FL entered this life on July 17, 1926 in Belwood, Ontario, Canada. She was raised in Ontario and graduated high school and college there. She was united in marriage on January 22, 1955 to John Frederick McIntosh. This happy union of 62 years was blessed with two daughters, Heather and Sharon. Marjorie had resided in Largo since her early twenties. She attended business college in St. Petersburg and received a secretarial degree. She worked for Aerovia Aviation as the secretary to the president until her daughters were born. She then became a stay at home mother raising her daughters and caring for their home. She later went back to work and worked for Liberty Mutual as a transcriptionist retiring after 13 years of service. Marjorie was an active member of the Church of Christ. She loved being a mom and wife. She enjoyed church work, knitting and being a great hostess. Marjorie passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Hanover, IN.
Marjorie will be missed by her loving daughters, Heather Jakobiak and her husband, Jake of Parrish, FL, Sharon Boatright and her husband, Alann of Pinellas Park, FL and Hanover, IN. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her older brother, William, and her infant twin brother, Russell, and her beloved husband, John McIntosh who passed on September 14, 2017.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL. Entombment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, 5750 49th Street North, St. Petersburg, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to Florida College, ASPCA, and American Heart Association.”
