Marionetta Savage's Obituary
Marionetta Savage, age 94, a life-long resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away February 17, 2026, at the home of her daughters in Henderson, Nevada. She was born September 16, 1931 in Utica, New York, a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Leveritt. In addition to her parents, Marionetta was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Michael Savage. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Leveritt (Florence), and her sister, Betty Stapleton (Carlton “Buddy”) and a nephew, Carlton.
Marionetta is survived by her son, Michael; two daughters, Janet and Kathy; a granddaughter, Caitlin; her niece, Annie; nephews, Garry, Ricky, Aaron, and niece, Rachel. She is remembered by her extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
Marionetta was an accomplished seamstress, kept an immaculate home and spent most of her time caring for her husband and family. A private remembrance tribute will be held on Thursday, March 12, 11 am, at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations in support of hospice are made in Marionetta’s memory.
