Marilyn O'Neill's Obituary
Marilyn O’Neill passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 7, 2017 in her home. Marilyn was born September 4, 1946 to parents Madeline and Thomas in Bayonne, NJ. She had three brothers who have preceded her in death. Her family moved to Delaware during her early childhood. She remained close with many of her school and childhood friends. Marilyn lived between Delaware and Saint Petersburg, FL for many years. She eventually planted roots in Saint Petersburg during the early 1990’s.
Marilyn’s greatest achievement are her three sons, Nicholas, Evan and Alex. They will miss her immensely and their grief is immeasurable. She is also sorely missed and survived by her daughter-in-laws, Rebecca and Natalie, her grandson Nathan and her beloved dog Zoey. She will be remembered for her warmth, zest for life and elegance. Everyone she met felt an instant friendship with her.
Arrangements for Marilyn will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Saint Petersburg on Friday, January 13, 2016. Viewing 11am-1pm with Funeral to immediately follow. Marilyn had a deep love and compassion for all animals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any local animal shelter in her name.
