Marie Alana Tobin's Obituary
Tobin, Marie Alana age 69 passed into the waiting arms of Jesus on August 26, 2016. She was born January 21, 1947 to Michael and Mildred Tobin who have preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother Martin Tobin (Donna) Niece Melissa MacEachern (John) and cousin William Burns. Marie lived the last 10 years at The Villas of Casa Celeste ALF in Seminole Fl. There she enjoyed being center of attention as “Princess” and “Sweetheart”.
She enjoyed attending church at Grace Lutheran, monthly birthday parties at her ALF, and shopping for purses at the Dollar Tree and Thrift stores. She also like costume jewelry especially rings, which she usually wore on most of her fingers.
In the past, she was Mom’s constant travelling companion. She enjoyed being on the “GO” and together they did quite a bit of travelling and cruising. She was also a past member of the DAV auxiliary.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday September 3, 2016 at Grace Lutheran Church 4301 16th St N., Saint Petersburg Fl. Viewing will be at 11:30 a.m. with service at 12:00 p.m. The burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery 5750 49th St N. Saint Petersburg.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
