Maridyth Carolyn McCall's Obituary
McCall, Maridyth Carolyn age 83 of St. Petersburg FL passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022.
She was a graduate of St. Petersburg Senior High School in 1958 and retired from Honeywell in 1994. Maridyth was a three-time cancer survivor, fabulous seamstress for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s Halloween or play costumes, voted best boo-boo fixer several years in a row, laughed at all her son-in-law’s not-so-funny jokes, and fiercely loved, adored, and cherished her family. She enjoyed playing spider solitaire and boggle as well as reading the dictionary in her spare time. Maridyth was known by her grandchildren as “Grandma”, by her great grandchildren as “Gran”, and by her nieces and nephews as “Aunt Mare”. Preceded in death by her parents James and Edna McCall, sisters Barbara Thurman and Marilyn Sundlie, and granddaughter Jessica Lourens. She is survived by sister, Peggy McCall Taylor; son, Jody Robinson; daughter, Traci Reese; son-in-law, Robert Reese; daughter, Kelli Robinson; 24 grandchildren, Kyle Robinson, Alexis Robinson, Robert Reese, Sara Hannah, David Hannah, Tabitha Johnston, Christina Westwood, Heather Anderson, Nick Anderson, Steven McGlynn, Cameron McGlynn, Cheyenne McGlynn, Amanda McCaskey, Kaycee Rundle, Autumn Beach, Jacob Rundle, Garrett Rundle, Drew Rundle, Jason Moore, Dalton Montgomery, Felicity Montgomery, Cody Montgomery, Chloe Montgomery, and Matthys Lourens; 20 great grandchildren, Abigail Anderson, Audrey Hannah, Jude Hannah, Kennedy Anderson, Kelly Anderson, Otis Reese, Ulysses Reese, Cassius Reese, Brooke Moshe, Caleb McCaskey, Wyatt McCaskey, Emitt McCaskey, Emma Hemion, Azucena Robertson, Archer Beach, Harmony Rundle, Killian Rundle, Gideon Rundle, Rylee Westwood, Kinsley Westwood and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A private family viewing will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022. Gravesite service TBD.
