Maria Emilia Ventura's Obituary
Maria Emilia Ventura, 97, of Seminole, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. Born in Lousa, Portugal in 1927 to Antonio and Rosalina (De Jesus) Vidal, Maria moved to Naugatuck, Connecticut in 1971 and lived there until moving to Florida nearly 20 years ago. Maria lived a full and meaningful life and was happiest spending time with her loved ones and working in her garden.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mario Ventura. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Susete Almeida (Adelino); granddaughters Vannessa Adamo (Scott) and Kimberly Brodsky (Erin); and her four great-grandchildren.
Maria's family will be receiving visitors beginning at 1 pm on Friday, February 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2 pm, followed by a committal service in the mausoleum at 3 pm.
